Mallorca Unplugged

FINDING BELONGING

By Sheyla Babic
Mallorca Unplugged is a warm, humorous story about belonging, village life, and four unexpected visitors trying to make sense of both.
Set in the small Mallorcan village of Búger, it is a story of everyday rituals, unlikely connections, and discovering that sometimes the places we never planned to call home are the ones that change us most.
A Spanish edition will be available soon, bringing the story even closer to the island that inspired it.

ARRIVAL · OBSERVATION · BELONGING

Nothing much ever happens in Búger
At least, that is what everyone believes.
Then four unexpected visitors arrive in Mallorca's smallest village, bringing curiosity, confusion and a very different idea of how life ought to work.
What begins as an interruption to the ordinary rhythms of Búger slowly becomes something none of them expected.
And while the visitors are busy studying the villagers, the villagers are quietly studying them too.
“Sometimes an outsider is the only one who can show us what we’ve been overlooking all along.”
